Now, we are facing the threat of toxic sulfide mining near Lake Superior and the Boundary Waters, and the emerging impacts of climate change. Each day, most Minnesotans have no choice but to use their car to get to work, school, or any important destination. Twin Cities suburban families spend 17 full days a year behind the wheel - more than the average parent spends dressing, bathing and feeding a child.
